Electronics company Canon has joined the sponsorship roster for the 2013 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.
The Japanese multi-national firm will serve as the official imaging and document solutions sponsor when the biennial multi-sport event arrives in Myanmar in December.
Canon will run an on-site centre for accredited professional sports photographers covering the Games, providing technical support, repair and maintenance services and loans of its latest equipment.
Across host venues in Nay Pyi Daw, Yangon and Mandalay, the 2013 SEA Games will feature more than 32 sports and 6,000 athletes from 11 countries.
