Bundesliga’s Mainz switches back to Lotto

German Bundesliga top-tier football club Mainz has secured a long-term kit deal with Italian sportswear manufacturer Lotto.

The agreement is for five years, from 2015-16 to 2019-20. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Lotto previously provided Mainz’s kits between 2001 and 2008 and will replace US sportswear company Nike in the role.

President of Lotto Sport Italia, Andrea Tomat, said: “This partnership documents the steady commitment of Lotto in international football and underlines our commitment to grow in the German market.”

Mainz joins Bundesliga counterpart Hoffenheim, Dutch Eredivisie team Vitesse Arnhem, Italian Serie A club Genoa and Austrian Bundesliga outfit Sturm Graz among Lotto’s European football portfolio.
