Luggage manufacturer Rimowa has agreed a one-year extension to its partnership with German football team Köln after the club gained promotion to the top-tier Bundesliga.
Rimowa will remain a premium sponsor of the club throughout the 2014-15 season.
The company will also continue to supply its luggage to Köln for use by players, coaches and other club staff.
Locally-based Rimowa began its support of Köln in 2008.
Dieter Morszeck, president and chief executive officer of Rimowa, said: “The majority of our employees in Cologne are fans of FC Köln and it is natural to seek a closer connection. The exclusive partnership is something very special for us.”
Köln finished as champion of the 2013-14 2.Bundesliga to win promotion back to the German top flight.
