Brooklyn Nets sign up presenting sponsor

NBA franchise the Brooklyn Nets has agreed a five-year presenting sponsorship deal with SecureWatch 24, according to the New York Post newspaper.

Under the deal, the New York-based security systems firm will benefit from advertising, billboards and in-arena signing at the Nets’ Barclays Center home.

This includes highly visible branding on courtside and baseline signage.

Boosted by investment from owner and Russian billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov, the Nets have signed NBA stars Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce in the off-season and the new “Are You Ready?” marketing campaign based around its bolstered playing roster will feature the SecureWatch 24 logo.

The Nets have not disclosed the financial terms of the deal but the newspaper said that the deal is likely to be worth $1 million (€750,000) per year.
