Multinational engineering and electronics firm Bosch has opted to expand its existing agreement with the German Handball Federation (DHB) by striking a new deal for its Bosch Car Service division to become a partner of the national governing body.
The new deal will run for two years, from the 2015-16 season through to the end of the 2016-17 campaign.
Under the agreement, official DHB referees will carry the Bosch Car Service logo on the front and back of their shirts.
The partnership will cover referees that officiate in the Handball Bundesliga top-tier as well as the 2.Bundesliga and 3.Bundesliga lower divisions.
The deal, brokered by the Sportfive agency, will expand an existing two-year partnership between Bosch and the DHB that was agreed in January of this year.
Under the previous deal, Bosch branding has been appearing on LED advertising boards during Germany’s national team home matches.
