The governing body for cycling in the US, USA Cycling, has announced a sponsorship deal with nutrition bar manufacturer Bonk Breaker.
Under the deal, Bonk Breaker becomes an official sponsor for USA Cycling as well as the official energy, protein and nutritional bar of the USA Cycling Team, supplying products for the squad at events and training camps.
Additionally, Bonk Breaker, also the official bar of the US Ironman Triathlon series, will enjoy product activation at USA Cycling events.
Bonk Breaker lists Sarah Hammer, Dotsie Bausch and Jennie Reed – three members of the USA’s silver-medal winning women’s team pursuit squad at the London 2012 Olympics – among its Team Bonk Breaker ambassadors.
Terms of the deal were undisclosed.
