BMW revs up Australian Rugby Union partnership

German automotive giant BMW has entered into a new partnership with the Australian Rugby Union.

The deal will run for two years, from 2015 until 2016.

Under the agreement, BMW will become the official vehicle partner of the Australian national rugby union team.

BMW will benefit from branding on players’ shorts as well as on test match balls used during the team’s games in Australia.

In addition, the company’s BMW Australia branch will offer its dealer network a range of special owner experiences and hospitality options.

BMW has already established itself within the wider rugby union market through a partnership with the English Rugby Football Union, with the firm also serving as a partner of the French and South African national teams.
