Triathlon products manufacturer Blueseventy has agreed a commercial partnership with the International Triathlon Union covering several stops on the 2014 World Triathlon Series.
Under the terms of the deal, Blueseventy will become the official swim and wetsuit partner for three of the eight WTS events in 2014 beginning with the competition in Cape Town, South Africa this weekend. The global wetsuit company will also have a presence at the World Triathlon London and the World Triathlon Grand Final in Edmonton, Canada.
Blueseventy chief executive Tim Moxey said: “With our goal of creating and refining products that empower swimmers to achieve their personal bests, working with the ITU World Triathlon Series allows us to interact with a broad skill range, from pro triathletes to those just starting out. One of the many benefits of this partnership for us is to have another avenue of feedback that will help us create the best products on the market.”
Lagardère Unlimited Events, the marketing agency of the World Triathlon Series, brokered the partnership.
