Sporting apparel brand BLK has struck a deal to support Australia’s national netball team.
The agreement with the Netball Australia governing body will run for four years, from 2015 to 2018.
BLK, which already has partnerships with Netball Tasmania and Netball Victoria, will provide official kit for the national team, also known as the Diamonds, as well as national age group teams.
The 2015 Netball World Cup will take place in Sydney in August and BLK chief marketing officer Jason Sintome said that the timing of the deal was perfect.
“Not since 1991 has Australia hosted the Netball World Cup and as a brand we couldn’t think of a more exciting time or better way to further increase our presence in the sport, than through a partnership with the national body and a team which has dominated the code internationally for over a decade,” Sintome said.
