Sports betting company BetXchange has expanded its partnership with African mixed martial arts series EFC Africa by taking on a one-year headline sponsorship.
Under the terms of the deal, BetXchange will be the presenting sponsor for all 10 EFC Africa events slated for 2014, starting with EFC Africa 27 in Johannesburg on February 27.
The new deal coincides with the launch of BetXchange’s mobile platform, which features a new in-play betting option.
EFC Africa president Cairo Howarth said: “BetXchange’s involvement with EFC Africa is a big part of what makes our sport so exciting. Fans love placing their bets at the venue, or adding spice to home viewing with a bet riding on the fight. BetXchange have been with us since the beginning. We’ve grown together. To have them on board as title partner means a lot to our organisation.”
