Betting company Betfair has entered into a partnership with English Premier League football club Southampton in a move to further strengthen its presence in the competition.
Under the deal, the terms of which were not disclosed, Betfair will serve as the club’s official betting partner.
Betfair will also gain access to the club’s ‘Predict the Score’ social function, which allows fans to guess the final result, the first goalscorer and the minute of the first goal.
The new partnership is the latest in a series of deals that Betfair has agreed with clubs in the Premier League.
Earlier this week the company secured a partnership with Arsenal, having last month entered into agreements with Leicester City, Sunderland and Aston Villa.
