German Basketball Bundesliga clubs Ratiopharm Ulm and the Giessen 46ers have opted to extend commercial deals with top-tier partners.
Pharmaceutical company Teva has struck a deal for its Ratiopharm subsidiary to continue as title sponsor of Ratiopharm Ulm.
The agreement will run for five seasons, from 2016-17 through to 2020-21.
The team will continue to be known as Ratiopharm Ulm while company branding will appear on the front of players' jerseys.
Meanwhile, the Giessen 46ers club has renewed a partnership with packaging machine manufacturer Rovema.
The extended deal will run for two seasons, from 2016-17 to 2017-18.
Under the agreement, Rovema will continue to appear on 46ers’ playing jerseys as well as on LED advertising boards inside the team’s Sporthalle Giessen-Ost home arena.
