German regional energy provider Lechwerke, and its subsidiary LEW Service & Consulting, has signed a long-term extension to its partnership with FC Augsburg, which competes in the country’s Bundesliga club football competition.
The extended agreement will run until at least 2024.
Lechwerke will continue to benefit from branding placement on throughout the club’s WWK Arena home stadium. The agreement also covers catering services on match days and during special events at the venue.
The company will also work in partnership with the club on various projects and initiatives, as well as benefit from an extensive marketing package.
Lechwerke has been in partnership with the team since 2009 and helped establish the WWK Arena as the first carbon neutral stadium in the world.
