ATP’s Geneva Open banks title sponsor

Organisers of the Geneva Open men’s tennis tournament have confirmed that financial services company Banque Éric Sturdza will serve as the event’s title sponsor from next year.

The two parties have agreed a three-year deal, which will cover the 2016 to 2018 editions of the 250 series event on the ATP World Tour.

Switzerland’s world No.4 and current holder of the Roland Garros grand slam tournament, Stanislas Wawrinka (pictured), is so far the only high-profile player pencilled in to compete at the 2016 Geneva Open, which takes place from May 14-21. Further players will be confirmed over the next few weeks.

Brazilian Thomaz Bellucci is the tournament’s current champion.
