Spirits brand Pernod Ricard has agreed a deal to sponsor Ascot Racecourse.
The three-year deal runs until 2020 and names Pernod Ricard UK as the official spirits supplier at Ascot, which is located in the English county of Berkshire.
Under the agreement, Pernod Ricard’s Absolut Vodka, Beefeater London Dry Gin and Chivas Regal Whisky products will be introduced at the racecourse’s bars, restaurants and private boxes.
Ascot has also worked with the company to create a new cocktail entitled The Royal Blush, which is made with Beefeater London Dry Gin, rhubarb syrup, lemonade, lemon raspberries and cubed ice, and will be served throughout the Royal Ascot event.
In addition, Pernod Ricard will create a new bespoke gin bar at Ascot’s grandstand, and take over the Bit and Bridle cocktail bar in the King Edward VII Enclosure all year round, and the Stewards House Lawn cocktail bar during Royal Ascot.
