Banking group ASB has signed a three-year sponsorship agreement with New Zealand Rugby.
Under the deal, ASB will sponsor New Zealand’s national team when it defends the Rugby World Cup title in England later this year, along with when men’s and women’s sevens makes its Olympic debut at Rio 2016 and when the British and Irish Lions tour the country in 2017.
All Blacks players Keven Mealamu, Tony Woodcock, Cory Jane, Sam Cane, and Patrick Tuipulotu (pictured) feature in a marketing campaign to launch the partnership.
New Zealand Rugby chief executive Steve Tew said: "ASB is very committed to showcasing our teams through its extensive branch network and market presence so this partnership will be very valuable in terms of helping us reach more fans in more places."
Financial terms for the deal were not disclosed.
