Egyptian property company Hyde Park Developments has agreed a partnership with English Premier League football club Arsenal.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it was confirmed that Hyde Park will serve as the team’s official real estate partner in Egypt.
The agreement represents the first time that Arsenal has signed a partnership with an Egyptian company.
The two parties will co-host quarterly training camps and ‘coach the coaches’ programmes at Hyde Park property development sites across Egypt, while Arsenal legends will visit the country’s capital of Cairo.
Arsenal first-team players will also create content to help promote Hyde Park’s ongoing work in Egypt, including the two real estate developments, New Cairo and Coast82.
In addition, Arsenal fans in Egypt and residents in Hyde Park properties will be able to access a range of club-related benefits, such as the opportunity to win signed merchandise and replica shirts.
Vinai Venkatesham, the chief commercial officer at Arsenal, said: “Arsenal has fantastic support in Egypt, where we have our second largest Facebook following of more than 2.5 million.
