ANTA Sports has further strengthened its support of Chinese sport by agreeing to become a strategic partner of the General Administration of Sport of China’s Boxing and Taekwondo Sports Management Centre until 2016.
The Chinese sportswear company, which has been the exclusive sportswear partner to the Chinese Olympic Committee since 2009, will provide kit to the national boxing, taekwondo and karate teams. The duration of the deal will include the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games, Incheon 2014 Asian Games and the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games.
The deal will add to a number of other agreements ANTA already has in place with the General Administration of Sport of China’s management centres for water and winter sports.
The updated agreement will now mean ANTA will supply professional sportswear outfits for a total of 16 Chinese national teams, in addition to outfits for the Chinese sports delegation, until the 2016 Olympic period.
