AFL Aussie rules football club the Western Bulldogs has extended its major sponsorship agreement with flat bread producer Mission Foods.
Under the new three-year deal, Mission Foods will retain its status as the Bulldogs’ major partner until at least the end of the 2020 season.
Specific financial terms of the new partnership were not disclosed, but the club confirmed it would be a “record multi-million dollar deal”.
The extension will take the Bulldogs’ association with Mission Foods to 12 years, marking the first time in the Melbourne-based club’s history that it has had a major sponsorship agreement last more than a decade.
“Mission Foods joined our family back in 2009, when they launched their brand into the Australian market, and in the time since we’ve gone on an exciting and ultimately rewarding journey together,” Bulldogs president Peter Gordon said.
“We are grateful for the loyalty that Mission have shown us. This new agreement, which extends our partnership until the end of the 2020 season, breaks new ground for the club and provides us with an opportunity to build into an organisation we would not have thought possible only a few years ago.”
