AFL Aussie rules football team the Western Bulldogs has agreed a jersey sponsorship deal with automotive manufacturer Mercedes-Benz Vans Australia.
The company has agreed a three-year deal to serve as the team’s principal partner from 2018 to 2020.
Mercedes-Benz Vans’ logo will feature on the back of the Bulldogs’ jerseys as part of the agreement.
The company will also receive brand exposure on the club’s apparel, and on official media backdrops.
The deal marks Mercedes-Benz Vans Australia’s first partnership with a major sports team, and the first time the club has teamed up with an automotive manufacturer.
Flat bread producer Mission Foods last month extended its major sponsorship agreement with the Bulldogs. Its branding will continue to feature on the front of the team’s guernseys until the end of the 2020 season.
