The AFL Aussie rules football league has entered into a partnership with car and van rental company Thrifty.
The three-year deal covers the 2017 to 2019 AFL seasons and names Thrifty as the league’s official hire car partner.
Thrifty will also serve as the hire car provider to AFL Travel, the service used by fans to purchase travel packages for matches.
“There aren’t many places in Australia where AFL is not played and enjoyed,” Thrifty chief executive Tom Mooney said. “With our extensive network across Australia we are well positioned to support both the game and the fans.”
