Dutch Eredivisie football club Ajax has renewed its partnership with financial services company Aegon.
The new two-year deal will cover the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons and names Aegon as an official supplier of the club.
Aegon served as the club’s shirt sponsor from 2008 to 2014 before being replaced by telecommunications company Ziggo.
Ajax’s commercial director, Menno Geelen, said: “I have personally had a special relationship with Aegon and as a club we are very pleased that our former main sponsor is still connected to us.
“Long-term cooperation is our aim and with Aegon we have many beautiful things. We are pleased that Aegon remains involved with us and therefore look forward to even more beautiful things in the future.”
