NBA basketball franchise the Chicago Bulls has announced an expanded multi-year agreement with Illinois-based Advocate Health Care that will lead to the company assuming naming rights for the team’s new training facility.
The Advocate Center is scheduled to open before the 2014-15 season and will be located across the road from the United Center – the home arena of the Bulls. The team has trained at the Sheri L. Berto Center in Deerfield, Illinois, since 1992, and intends to sell the current practice facility to return to Chicago.
Advocate, which has been a partner of the Bulls for the past two years, will also sponsor a 2014-15 pre-season game in October to highlight its support of Breast Cancer Awareness month and its ‘Stories of the Girls’ initiative.
This will be the second consecutive year Advocate will have sponsored a Bulls pre-season game focused on Breast Cancer Awareness.
