English Premier League football club Leicester City has agreed a multi-year kit partnership with German sportswear manufacturer Adidas.
The deal begins with the 2018-19 season, with Adidas to serve as Leicester’s official technical kit partner.
Adidas will replace fellow German brand Puma in the role. Leicester becomes the second Premier League club this month to swap Puma for Adidas, joining newly-promoted team Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Puma held a five-year association with Leicester and supplied the club’s kit during its Premier League-winning season in 2015-16.
Leicester chief executive Susan Whelan said: “Our partnership with Adidas represents a great opportunity for us to increase the reach of Leicester City Football Club, both domestically and internationally, alongside one of the most reputable and recognisable brands in the world.
“It’s not only an exciting development for the club; but also for our players, who will feel the benefit of Adidas’s commitment to high-performance; and for our supporters, who proudly wear our colours whether following the team up and down the country or from all four corners of the globe.”
