Adidas to replace Dryworld as Watford kit partner

English Premier League football club Watford has signed a new kit partnership with German sportswear company Adidas.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it will commence from the 2017-18 season.

The Adidas announcement comes just months after Watford forged a three-season deal, covering the 2016-17 to 2018-19 campaigns, with Canadian sports apparel provider Dryworld.

Financial terms of that partnership were not disclosed, although Watford’s commercial director Spencer Field confirmed at the time that the agreement would mark “the largest sponsorship deal in the club’s history”.

Dryworld replaced Puma as the club’s official technical partner, with the deal marking the company’s first with a Premier League side.
