Japanese automotive manufacturer Toyota has extended its long-running partnership with AFL Aussie rules football team the Adelaide Crows.
The two parties have agreed a new three-year deal, which will cover the 2017 to 2019 seasons. Toyota has served as a major partner of the club since 1991 and enjoys branding rights on the front and back of its jersey.
Toyota is also the naming rights partner of the top-tier AFL Premiership. Adelaide currently sits eighth in the table after 12 rounds of the 2016 season.
Adelaide Crows chairman Rob Chapman said: “We’re extremely proud of this partnership which is now one of the most sizeable and longest standing in Australian sport. For more than 25 years we have worked closely with Toyota to the benefit of both organisations and we’re delighted to be extending our partnership once again.”
