Singapore conglomerate Fraser and Neave has sealed a deal for its 100Plus beverage brand to sponsor the Singapore Sports Hub.
Under the agreement, the sheltered running track and walkway around the complex’s newly-completed 55,000-seat National Stadium will be named the 100Plus Promenade. According to the Straits Times newspaper , the value of the naming partnership is in the region of S$2m (€1.2m/$1.6m).
In November 2013, banking group OCBC signed a 15-year deal to become the premier founding partner of the Sports Hub – granting it the naming rights to its indoor arena, aquatics centre and hospitality areas at the national stadium.
Last month, OCBC’s insurance subsidiary Great Eastern also came on board as a founding partner.
