  • Cricket’s newest franchise leagues both meet internal expectations with inaugural title sponsor deals
  • DP World keen to support UAE’s ambitions and leverage storytelling opportunity of ILT20
  • IPL presence significant for prospects of both leagues
The two newest additions to cricket’s T20 franchise league circuit, the United Arab Emirates-based International League T20 (ILT20) and South Africa’s SA20, have achieved similar fees for their respective inaugural title sponsorship agreements.

In December last year, the Emirates Cricket Board’s ILT20 announced an agreement with UAE-based global logistics company DP World, which SportBusiness Sponsorship understands is worth $5m (€4.6m) per year across five-years, from 2023 to 2027.
