South African rugby union team Golden Lions has announced a three-year deal to make document solutions company Xerox its new title sponsor for the domestic Currie Cup tournament.
Golden Lions and Xerox have a long-established relationship, with the company taking on a third spell in a title-sponsorship capacity, following previous deals that spanned 1993-98 and 2003-09.
“Negotiations over this partnership have been on-going for several months and we are delighted that Xerox has decided once again to put their trust in the Lions brand,” the franchise’s chief executive Manie Booysen said. “We are grateful that BDS (Xerox’s strategic South African partner) and Xerox are willing to partner with us during our re-building phase.”
Earlier this week, Golden Lions agreed a two-year sponsorship deal with Jonsson Workwear.
