Women’s British Open tees off with POSI+IV

Energy drinks brand POSI+IV has agreed a sponsorship deal with organisers of the Women’s British Open for the 2014 edition of the golf tournament, which commences today at Royal Birkdale in Southport, England.

The deal, brokered by the Aurum PMG agency, will see POSI+IV continue its golf strategy following its recent partnership with men’s world No.24 Ian Poulter.

POSI+IV is a new entrant into the energy drinks market and is part of the Quench Worldwide group.

Nick Hampson, chief executive of Quench Worldwide, said: “One of the pillars of POSI+IV is golf and we are proud to partner the event and make our drink available to the competitors. The championship has a global television audience and will provide a great vehicle for us to communicate our product to the golf market.”
