English Super League rugby league team Wigan Warriors has renewed its main sponsorship agreement with bookmaker 188Bet.
The new one-year agreement will cover the 2017 Super League season.
As part of the deal, 188Bet’s logo will continue to appear on the front of the Warriors’ playing jerseys.
“188Bet have worked really hard to engage with Wigan fans, interacting regularly through social and digital media channels with competitions and exclusive content,” Wigan’s marketing director Simon Collinson said.
“Furthermore, they’ve supported a number of initiatives during the course of year, including most recently the distribution of 5,000 Frank-Paul Nuuausala face masks at the huge derby against St Helens when the Kiwi International – nicknamed ‘the Wrecking Ball’ – made his home debut.”
188Bet signed on as the Warriors’ main sponsor last December ahead of the 2016 Super League season. The two parties had teamed up in the past, with 188Bet’s branding having featured on the shoulder of Wigan’s shirts during the 2010 campaign.
