Australian Super Rugby franchise Western Force has renewed its partnership with sportswear manufacturer BLK.
BLK will continue to be the Perth-based team’s kit provider for the next four years, culminating in the 2019 season. From 2016, BLK will also introduce a leisure range for Western Force supporters.
In addition, the club will employ a BLK representative to assist local and junior clubs with their kits, which BLK will provide as part of the new agreement.
The partnership began in 2012, when BLK was known as KooGa. Since then, the relationship has grown and the renewal comes after record sales of Western Force’s 2015 kit, the release of which coincided with the club’s 10th season.
“This sort of success provides the opportunity to grow and expand our relationship and retail brand, which provides additional choice and benefit to our supporters,” Western Force chief executive, Mark Sinderberry, said.
“To have a BLK representative ‘on the ground’ to work with our supporters and clubs to help deliver on their needs is an exciting development.”
