Online gaming company Wellbet has agreed a deal to sponsor the upcoming Australian Open table tennis event in Geelong.
Wellbet agreed the deal with the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF).
Wellbet will serve as the official international betting partner of the tournament, which is a Platinum Series event on the ITTF World Tour. This year’s event takes place from July 9-14.

As a Platinum Series event, the Australian Open offers higher prize money and world-ranking points than the six regular events on the ITTF World Tour.
Wellbet has previously sponsored Serie A, the top tier of Italian club football. The company is currently an official sponsor of Dutch Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven.
