Autohome, a Chinese online automobile destination, has signed up as an Official Sponsor of this year’s World Table Tennis Championships, which are currently ongoing in Budapest, Hungary.
Autohome has been granted category exclusivity in the automobile digital marketplace sector, representing a first-of-its-kind deal for the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF).
The deal strengthens Autohome’s commitment to table tennis, with the company having signed men’s world number one and Chinese favourite Fan Zhendong as a brand ambassador.
The deal with the ITTF was signed through sports and entertainment agency Charm.
This year’s World Championships run until Sunday.
