Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg has renewed its partnership with German brewery C. & A. Veltins.
The deal with the group’s premium Veltins brand will run for another three seasons, from 2019-20 to 2021-22.
Under the deal, Veltins will continue to have exclusive pouring rights at Wolfsburg’s Vokswagen Arena and AOK Stadium, the home of Wolfsburg’s second, youth and women’s teams.
Veltins will also get LED time, physical signage at both stadiums, match-day activation rights and social media branding rights.
Wolfsburg captain Josuha Guilavogui will support Veltins throughout the partnership, and Veltins will also sponsor Wolfsburg women’s teams. Veltins has been a Wolfsburg partner since 2013.
German car giant Volkswagen is Wolfsburg’s front-of-shirt partner and stadium naming rights partner.
The club has close ties with Volkswagen due to its proximity to the Wolfsburg Volkswagen Factory, located less than 3km from the Volkswagen Arena.
The factory is the largest manufacturing plant in the world in terms of surface area, covering almost 6.5 million m².
Wolfsburg’s other principal partners include kit supplier Nike, sleeve partner UPS, Linglong Tire and logistics brand Sese.
