VfL Wolfsburg has agreed a sponsorship deal with global shipping and logistics company UPS, while fellow German Bundesliga football club TSG Hoffenheim has entered into a partnership with water brand Saskia.
Wolfsburg’s initial one-year deal with UPS will cover the upcoming 2016-17 Bundesliga season. The agreement incorporates the club’s women’s team and includes the option of a further year.
As part of the deal, UPS will handle all deliveries from Wolfsburg’s club shop. The two parties will also work on social media campaigns and sustainability projects. The deal represents the first for UPS in the Bundesliga.
Meanwhile, Saskia has been named the official bottled water product of Hoffenheim.
The partnership marks an expansion of Hoffenheim’s long-running association with retail firm Schwarz Gruppe. Saskia is a product of the Schwarz-owned Lidl supermarket chain. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Schwarz has also upgraded its association with Hoffenheim to become a premium business partner of the club.
