AFL Aussie rules football team Collingwood has renewed its partnership with Australian fuel and convenience retail chain United Petroleum.
The company will remain Collingwood’s official football partner for the next five years, in a deal that will culminate in the 2020 season. United Petroleum’s logo will feature on the match footballs used in the club’s home games during this period.
Collingwood’s reserve team, which plays in the regional Victorian Football League, will also benefit from the partnership. United Petroleum has been named the VFL outfit’s sole major partner until the end of the 2020 campaign. As part of this deal, United Petroleum’s branding will appear on the side’s jerseys and shorts.
The renewal comes after Collingwood and United Petroleum enjoyed a successful initial partnership during the 2015 AFL season.
Meanwhile, Collingwood has also renewed its relationship with Bluestar Global Logistics for the 2016 season. The company has in the past sponsored such events as the club’s season launch and trophy dinner.
