Health services company Unimed Seguros has signed up as a sponsor of the Brazil national team.
Unimed Seguros struck the agreement with the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF). The deal will run for six years and covers all levels of the Brazil national team, including the U-15, U-17, U-20, U-23 and women’s team, as well as the senior men’s team. Financial details were not revealed.
“Being with the CBF is a natural direction for our brand,” Unimed Seguros president Rafael Moliterno Neto said. “In recent years, we have invested in football… and we already sponsor Palmeiras.”
Unimed Seguros acquired exclusive sponsorship rights in the healthcare category. The company has become the latest addition to the CBF’s sponsor roster, which also includes Nike, Gol Linhas Aéreas, Itau, Vivo, Guarana Antarctica, Seara, Nestle, Extra, Gillette, Volkswagen and MasterCard.
