US sportswear manufacturer Under Armour has announced a multi-year partnership with Rugby Canada.
Under the agreement, Under Armour will manufacture and design training and match kits for Canada’s national rugby union teams and serve as a technical partner to the governing body.
The 2014-15 playing strips for Canada’s senior teams will be unveiled next month and are available on pre-sale through Rugby Canada’s official website. The men’s under-17 team and men’s and women’s under 20 sides are also covered by the deal.
Additionally, Under Armour will benefit from commercial marketing rights in association with Rugby Canada and in-stadium signage.
Canada sealed its qualification to the 2015 Rugby World Cup in England with a 13-11 victory over USA last August. It will face Ireland, Italy, France and a European qualifier in Pool D.
