English Premier League football club Huddersfield Town has named UK sportswear manufacturer Umbro as its new kit supplier.
The four-year deal covers the 2018-19 to 2021-22 seasons. Umbro will replace German sportswear brand Puma as the Yorkshire club’s kit provider.
Umbro provided Huddersfield’s kit as recently as the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons, the former of which saw the club promoted from the third-tier League One into the Championship. Umbro’s new partnership also includes the provision of replica and training wear.
Huddersfield’s commercial director Sean Jarvis said: “The partnership has already developed and grown through a design process which has seen us finalise what we feel will be very popular home and alternative kits, accompanied by a high-quality range of training and leisurewear. We know that the quality and look of the kits are important to our fans and that has been at the forefront of our decision making.”
Umbro also provides kit for fellow Premier League clubs AFC Bournemouth, Everton and West Ham United.
