Uefa, football’s European governing body, has opened the sales process for the next cycle of sponsorship rights to the Champions League, Europa League and Super Cup club competitions.
The rights cover a three-season period from 2015-16 to 2017-18.
The Team Marketing agency will handle the worldwide sales process, which also includes media rights for the tournaments.
Uefa said that its executive committee had made a number of decisions with the aim of enhancing the commercial appeal of the Europa League.
"While the competition format of the Europa League will remain the same, several new enhancements are being made with the aim of positively increasing the appeal of the competition for clubs, fans and viewers alike," Uefa said. "These include the Europa League winners gaining direct access to the subsequent season’s Champions League, the increase in the number of teams directly qualified for the group stage from six to 16, and the full centralisation of commercial rights from the start of the (2015-16) season."
