Swiss financial services firm UBS has agreed a four-year extension to its sponsorship of the Swiss Athletics governing body.
Under the deal, the financial terms of which were not disclosed, UBS will sponsor the two annual IAAF Diamond League events staged in Lausanne and Zurich.
Additionally, UBS retains the title sponsorship of the Kids Cup – an initiative that gives more than 100,000 children the opportunity to enter athletics competitions annually – until the end of 2018.
Swiss Athletics is preparing to host the 2014 European Athletics Championships, which will take place in Zurich from August 12-17.
