English Premier League football club Aston Villa has reached a deal to make Turkish Airlines its official airline partner for the 2013-14 season.
The deal will help Turkish Airlines promote its direct route between Birmingham and Istanbul, where 10 flights depart from Birmingham International Airport on a weekly basis.
The Aston Villa deal is Turkish Airlines’ second major football tie-up this week after it became the official airline company of French Ligue 1 team Olympique de Marseille.
