UCI WorldTour cycling team Trek-Segafredo has unveiled sportswear manufacturer Sportful as its new kit partner.
Sportful’s three-year agreement with the US-registered team will cover the 2017 to 2019 seasons. The announcement coincided with the unveiling of Trek-Segafredo’s new kit, which features a colour change from white to red.
Sportful will provide clothing for Trek-Segafredo’s riders, while a range of products will also be made available for fans to purchase.
As part of the agreement, Trek-Segafredo will receive access to Sportful’s dedicated research and development programme, which seeks to improve athlete performance in every race and training situation.
The apparel used by the team will include BodyFit Pro products and the Stelvio jacket for extreme conditions. Trek-Segafredo has also chosen outdoor clothing brand Karpos to supply gear for staff and athletes off the bike.
