English Premier League football club Tottenham Hotspur has opted to extend its partnership with bookmaker William Hill.
Terms of the multi-year deal were undisclosed, but it was confirmed that William Hill will receive branding exposure on advertising boards during Tottenham home games at the team’s new stadium, which is due to open in time for the 2018-19 season.
William Hill, which began its support of the team in 2016, will also benefit from a presence across the club’s various digital channels.
In addition, the bookmaker will continue its support of the Tottenham Hotspur Elevator Programme, an initiative that helps people who live near the club to find employment. William Hill provided a six-figure grant to fund the project over the past two years.
Ulrik Bengtsson, chief digital officer at William Hill, said: “We have built strong ties with the club, staff and the fans over the past two seasons and we are excited to grow our relationship as the club enters a significant chapter in their history with the move into their new stadium.”
