French Top 14 rugby union club Union Bordeaux Bègles has entered into a partnership with sports apparel company Canterbury.
The five-season deal is effective from July 1. Canterbury will exclusively provide Bordeaux with technical, training and lifestyle apparel, along with other accessories.
Canterbury will replace Italian sportswear manufacturer Kappa as Bordeaux’s kit supplier.
Simon Rowe, director of global sports marketing for Canterbury, said: “UBB is a dynamic club in a region stacked with rugby values and will strengthen our international sponsored elite teams. We are particularly excited about the opportunities this partnership will bring us in France.”
Canterbury also supplies kit for the English and Irish national teams, as well as clubs such as Bath, Leinster, Ospreys and Cardiff Blues.
