Information services and human resources company Recruit has agreed a deal to sponsor the Tokyo 2020 summer Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Recruit will serve as an official partner of the Games – the second domestic tier of the Tokyo 2020 sponsorship programme.
Recruit has been attributed the ‘human resources and online study and learning services’ sponsorship category.
As a domestic sponsor of the Games, Recruit will be granted the use of Tokyo 2020 designations and imagery including emblems, mascots and slogans.
Tokyo 2020 president Yoshiro Mori said: “Recruit places a premium on connecting with society, and providing a diverse range of employment opportunities for people while creating new value, and I am confident the company will make a significant contribution to the success of the Tokyo 2020 Games in the category of human resources and online study and learning services.
“I am also certain that the staff provided by Recruit will not only play a vital role in the successful delivery of the Tokyo 2020 Games, but will also contribute to the post-Games legacy of creating a society in which everyone is able to live life to the fullest.”
The deal brings the total number of Tokyo 2020 domestic partners to 43, including 28 official partners.
