Golf equipment manufacturer Titleist has extended its sponsorship of the European Tour’s season-ending World Tour Championship in Dubai for a sixth consecutive year.
Titleist first partnered with the event in 2009 and it renews ahead of the 2014 edition at Jumeirah Golf Estates on November 20-23.
As part of the free golf lessons initiative supported by the Emirates Golf Federation and the Royal & Ancient Golf Club (R&A), Titleist will run its 915 Long Drive Contest over the four days of competition at Jumeriah’s Championship Village. The driving range will be supplied with Titleist golf balls during the competition week, with excess balls donated to junior and grassroots golf initiatives in the region after the tournament.
An official partner of the European Tour alongside other World Tour Championship partners Rolex, Emirates and BMW, Titleist also has established ties with its affiliated Challenge and Senior Tours.
Defending World Tour Championship and Race to Dubai champion Henrik Stenson is among Titleist’s roster of ambassadors on the European Tour.
