Shriners Hospitals for Children has renewed its title sponsorship of the annual PGA Tour golf event held in the US city of Las Vegas.
The event will continue to be known as the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open until 2020 after a new three-year deal was signed.
The healthcare organisation has sponsored the event since 2008.
Jerry Gantt, chairman of the board of trustees of Shriners Hospitals, said: “The worldwide media exposure provided by the Shriners Hospitals for Children helps us reach many who might not otherwise learn about our healthcare system.
“The Open also gives us an outstanding opportunity to share the stories of our patients in a powerful, visual way, clearly demonstrating our ability to impact and improve lives. We are extremely pleased to be part of the PGA Tour, which provides these opportunities, through 2020.”
This year’s Shriners Hospitals for Children Open will take place from October 30 to November 5 at the TPC Summerlin course. Australia’s Rod Pampling (pictured) is the defending champion.
