Financial services company The Unlimited has agreed a three-year deal for the naming rights to leading South African cricket team the Easterns Titans.
The Centurion/Tshwane-based club will now be known as The Unlimited Titans from September 1 under the terms of the agreement.
Steph Bester, chief executive officer of The Unlimited, said: “In partnership with the Titans and their management, we will focus on driving the fan experience as well as supporting the squad in taking its rightful position as the No.1 domestic cricket team in South Africa.”
Jacques Faul, chief executive officer of the Titans, added: “Going forward, this is going to be a valuable partnership that will constantly look for ways to enhance the face of Titans cricket, especially the fan experience.”
The new deal will also bolster The Unlimited’s overall sports sponsorship portfolio in the country, which also includes the naming rights to South Africa’s Dusi Canoe Marathon.
